About the Founder
complex factors dictate an integrated strategic solution. A scholar-practitioner, Monika was
most recently published in the International Association Facilitators Research and Application
Journal –Listening to the City (Spring, 2004), Life Mapping: A Process of Self Discovery and
Path Finding, personal development book (2007) and contributing author for new book,
Embracing Cultural Competence (2009). Monika is a regular presenter and trainer at regional
and national conferences on issues of facilitative leadership, strategic planning, Gestalt
Organizational Systems Development Theory, nonprofit management, and cultural competency.
A certified Gestalt Organizational Systems Development Practitioner, Ms Moss currently serves
on the faculty and leadership team of the Gestalt Organizational Systems Development Center
which trains organizational development professionals and executives around the world in
organizational effectiveness and self-mastery. She serves as vice chair of the board of directors
for the Alliance for Nonprofit Management, a leading national organization for nonprofit capacity
builders. She is a certified facilitator in the Technology of Participation methodology developed
by the Institute of Cultural Affairs and a graduate of the leadership development program of the
National Coalition Building Institute specializing in diversity. She has taught at Cleveland State
University and Fordham University. Ms Moss holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from
Howard University and Columbia University, respectively. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership
Cleveland and involved with numerous community and civic organizations.
