Sondra C. McCurry has over 13 year’s experience in organizational development and program and diversity management with extensive experience in the non profit sector. She has designed and lead organizational effectiveness Interventions working with nonprofit organizations with an emphasis on governance and development of nonprofit boards of trustees, leadership development, strategic action planning, team development, problem solving/decision-making processes, conflict resolution and cultural diversity. Ms McCurry has managed capacity building projects working with senior and middle management of state and county departments of human and social services across the county (400-2000 employee agencies) in the implementation of welfare reform. Ms. McCurry implemented a cultural competence initiative during her tenure with Healthy Family/Healthy Start to incorporate cultural factors into service delivery to increase access to care for pregnant and parenting women. Over the years she has worked as academic manager with the Cleveland Job Corps Center, has taught in the Cleveland Public Schools and East Cleveland school systems. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her Masters of Science degree in Organizational Development and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.
