About the Founder
For
almost 20 years, master mapper and business consultant, Monika
K. Moss has dedicated her talents to helping organizations
and individuals create powerful road maps to their vision.
As founder and president of MKM Management Consulting, Monika
is committed to partnering with others to make a difference
by supporting the transformation of individuals and organizations.
Through her company, MKM Management Consulting, she and her
staff bring the kind of outstanding process design that is
required to successfully facilitate and support meaningful
change in individuals, organizations and communities. Her
“Life Mapping” process has helped hundreds of individuals
chart a map to their ideal lifestyle, enrich their lives and
bring added value of their organizations.
A scholar and practitioner, Monika has most recently published
in the International Association Facilitators Research and
Application Journal – Listening to the City (Spring, 2004)
and is a regular presenter and trainer at regional and national
conferences on issues of nonprofit management, strategic planning,
Gestalt Organizational Systems Development Theory, Cultural
Competency & Diversity. She is currently on the faculty
of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s Organizational Systems
Development Center and a partner with the Center for Nonprofit
Policy and Practice at Cleveland State University’s Maxine
Levine College of Urban Affairs as lead consultant to the
Leadership Institute for Organizational Change.
Ms Moss holds Bachelors and Masters
Degrees from Howard University and Columbia University, respectively.
She is a Gestalt practioner certified leadership trainer by
the National Coalition Building Institute and certified facilitator
by the Institute of Cultural Affairs.
Pat Davis
brings over 15 years of experience in the field of individual
and organization development and human relations to her work
with MKM Management Consulting. Results oriented, self-starter
with highly developed strategic planning, problem-solving,
and decision-making skills. Ms Davis provides a systematic
approach to cultivating leadership and effective management
skills among members of business, government, and non-profit
institutions, with an emphasis on valuing and managing diversity
and improving overall organizational effectiveness. Her work
consists of consulting, research, design, and delivery of
customized training and development programs. Her proven specialties
are designing, developing and facilitating programs in diversity,
communications, teambuilding and conflict resolution. Outstanding
communication and group facilitation skills support her in
bringing clarity to the diversity work she does with organizations.
Ms Davis earned her Master of Science in Organization Development
and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead
School of Management, and Associates in Professional Management
from John Carroll University. She has earned certificates
from the following organizations: National Multicultural Institute’s
4-Day Training of Trainers, John Carroll University’s
Conflict Resolution Train-The-Trainer, Cleveland Management
Development Consortium’s Diversity Training Program,
National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) Prejudice Reduction

Joseph Hsu
has worked with MKM Management Consulting since 2002 and brings
expertise in appreciative inquiry, marketing, counseling,
and organizational development. He brings business experience
as a manager and project coordinator with MUSAK, Global Consulting
Group and The Gap. In addition, he has worked with organizations
as a caseworker, project coordinator and trainer for Senior
Care Action Network™, Pasadena Senior Center, and the
Golden Age Center of Cleveland. He has also worked as a trainer
and counselor with youth, specifically teen mothers at Florence
Crittenton Service of Orange County and Access/TRIO Programs
(Upward Bound: SPPSHS & Talent Search). This combination
of experiences supports clients in dealing with generational
diversity in the workplace. Mr. Hsu has a BA in Social Work
from California State University-Long Beach, Masters in Social
Work from MSASS at CASE Western Reserve University, and MBA
from John Carroll University’s Boler School of Business.
Mr. Hsu is fluent in Chinese.
C. Greer Jordan
is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Organizational Behavior,
Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University.
She holds a M. B.A. from The University of Michigan and a
B.S.E.E. from The University of Detroit. Her research interests
include work environment and culture, women in science and
engineering, and research methods. Ms. Jordan has provided
consulting and facilitation services for nonprofit organizations
focusing on the areas of workforce diversity and development
and change management. She formerly served as Vice President
of Operations for D.L. Plummer and Associates, a diversity
and organizational change management consulting firm. She
is currently a research assistant to Dr. Diana Bilimoria on
a 5-year, $3.5 million research grant from the National Science
Foundation. Her recent publication, co-authored by Dr. Bilimoria,
is “Creating a Productive and Inclusive Academic Work
Environment”. It will appear in Advancing Women in Science
and Engineering: Lessons for Institutional Transformation
in 2007. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Ms. Jordan held several
engineering and management positions at Ford Motor Company
and General Motors.
Sondra C. McCurry
has over 13 year’s experience in organizational development
and program and diversity management with extensive experience
in the non profit sector. She has designed and lead organizational
effectiveness Interventions working with nonprofit organizations
with an emphasis on governance and development of nonprofit
boards of trustees, leadership development, strategic action
planning, team development, problem solving/decision-making
processes, conflict resolution and cultural diversity. Ms
McCurry has managed capacity building projects working with
senior and middle management of state and county departments
of human and social services across the county (400-2000 employee
agencies) in the implementation of welfare reform. Ms. McCurry
implemented a cultural competence initiative during her tenure
with Healthy Family/Healthy Start to incorporate cultural
factors into service delivery to increase access to care for
pregnant and parenting women. Over the years she has worked
as academic manager with the Cleveland Job Corps Center, has
taught in the Cleveland Public Schools and East Cleveland
school systems. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts s degree
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed
her Masters of Science degree in Organizational Development
and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University’s
Weatherhead School of Management.
Renee M. Whiteside has
assisted hundreds of individuals and organizations over the
past twenty years in meeting their training needs. She has
conceived, developed and implemented innovative training programs
designed to fit the unique needs of our clients. She is a
gifted communicator with powerful ability to communicate complex
ideas to a variety of socioeconomic groups. She has worked
in diversity for many years in a variety of settings both
locally and nationally as General Partner of The Diversity
Institute. Ms. Whiteside has audited a number of federal programs
for adherence to quality and standards. She brings expertise
in community engagement demonstrated by recent projects that
include serving as consultant to SE Elder Friendly Collaborative,
and as African American Outreach and Marketing Associate for
the Kucinich Presidential Campaign. Ms Whiteside holds a BA
in political science from Ohio Wesleyan University and a MS
in Urban Planning from Cleveland State University. She holds
certificates from the Local Officials Leadership Academy,
Geauga Leadership, and Ethics for Chemical Dependency Professionals,
Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.
